Using AstraSync With Hotmail
BlackBerry owners can now synchronize their Hotmail Email, Calendar and Contacts with their BlackBerry smartphones over the air using AstraSync.
Microsoft officially announced support for Exchange ActiveSync with Hotmail and Windows Live Accounts on the 30th of August. We have now completed testing of the Hotmail service with AstraSync and have added it to our ever growing list of supported platforms
How to Configure AstraSync to connect to Hotmail
To set up AstraSync with Hotmail, BlackBerry users should use the following settings when configuring AstraSync:
Email Address: Your Full Hotmail or Windows Live Email Address
Server: m.hotmail.com
Username: Your Full Hotmail or Windows Live Email Address
Domain: Leave Blank
Password: YourEmailPassword
Use SSL: Selected
